1. Service Agreement
By engaging AuditNova for financial auditing services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services are provided in accordance with Canadian auditing standards and professional regulations.
2. Scope of Services

Tax Audit Services

3. Professional Standards
All audit services are conducted in accordance with:
- Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
- International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- CPA Canada Code of Professional Conduct
- Provincial regulatory requirements
- Canada Revenue Agency guidelines
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate financial information
- Grant reasonable access to records and personnel
- Respond promptly to audit inquiries and requests
- Maintain confidentiality of audit procedures
- Pay fees according to agreed payment terms
5. Confidentiality
AuditNova maintains strict confidentiality regarding all client information in accordance with professional standards. We will not disclose confidential information except:
- When required by law or court order

- With explicit written client authorization
- For quality assurance review by professional bodies
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the scope of services provided and professional standards applicable to auditing services. We are not responsible for:
- Business decisions based on audit findings
- Future financial performance or outcomes
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Events occurring after the audit completion date
7. Payment Terms
- Fees are due within 30 days of invoice date
- Services may be suspended for overdue accounts
- Additional work outside scope incurs additional fees
- Payment methods: bank transfer, certified cheque
8. Intellectual Property
All audit methodologies, templates, and working papers remain the intellectual property of AuditNova. Clients receive rights to use audit reports for legitimate business purposes.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Upon termination:
- Work completed to termination date will be billed
- Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely
- Client records will be returned promptly
- AuditNova retains working papers per professional standards
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation as the first step
- Mediation by a qualified professional mediator
- Arbitration under Canadian arbitration rules
- Court proceedings as a last resort
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Canadian federal law and the laws of the province where services are provided. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Canadian courts.
12. Professional Independence
AuditNova maintains independence in accordance with professional standards. We do not provide services that would impair our independence or objectivity in audit engagements.
13. Amendments
These terms may be amended with written notice to clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of amended terms.
